Municipality Seeking Feedback On Proposed North End Sydney Amendment

The Regional Municipality is looking for feedback from people in Sydney’s North End about a proposal to convert Sacred Heart Church on George Street into a business hall.

The municipality says a business hall is allowed in the area but the proposed development doesn’t meet the minimum parking requirements for a building permit.

Regional Council has been asked to consider an amendment that would remove the minimum parking requirements for the proposed development.

Those who want to give feedback can find the municipality’s online survey at: https://kwiksurveys.com/s/northendsydney

The survey is available until the end of the day on January 17th.
