Regional Mayor Cecil Clarke says he’s confident the municipality is prepared across all departments for the arrival of Teddy.
The municipality put out an emergency notice this morning, saying all curbside heavy garbage must be removed and safely secured immediately.
Environment Canada is forecasting possible wind gusts of 80 to 100 km per hour starting at noon tomorrow.
Heavy rain is in the forecast for tomorrow afternoon into the evening.
The provincial Emergency Management Office is advising people to have an emergency kit ready and make sure they have enough food and water for 72 hours.
