Municipal Staff Preparing Draft By-low To Regulate Portable Signs

Regional Council learned at last night’s meeting staff is going ahead with a draft by-law to regulate temporary, portable signs.

The move comes after 910 people filled out a survey that asked for opinions on the signs.

Municipal planner Kristen Knudskov says the survey results will be used in putting together the draft by-law.

Knudskov says staff will return to Council with a couple of alternatives for a new sign by-law.
