Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Accident On Cabot Trail

RCMP say a 58-year-old man was seriously injured after the motorcycle he was driving hit a van on a section of the Cabot Trail on Monday.

They say the crash happened in St. Ann’s, where officers responded at about 10:00 Monday morning.

They say officers learned the vehicles were going in opposite directions at the time of the crash.

The New Brunswick man who was driving the motorcycle was flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the van, a 47-year-old man from Quebec, and three passengers reported minor injuries.

Police say their investigation continues.
