More Federal Money For Cape Breton Centre for Arts, Culture and Innovation

Sydney Victoria MP Mark Eyking announced another half million dollars in federal money this morning for the Cape Breton Centre for Arts, Culture and Innovation.

The money will allow the New Dawn Centre for Social Innovation to continue the renovation of the former Holy Angels Convent in Sydney.

The goal is to turn the building into a multidisciplinary cultural centre.

Ottawa pledged 5 million dollars for the project in October of 2017.

The former Holy Angels High School next door is now at full capacity as an arts innovation hub.
