A recall of Compliment’s brand Smoked Beef Pastrami because of possible Listeria contamination has been expanded to include more products.
The pastrami in 175 gram packages and a best before date of December 25th was recalled last month.
Now more Compliment’s brand pastrami and corned beef have been added to the list along with Levitt’s corned beef, Montreal style smoked meet and pastrami.
The Deli-Shop sliced pastrami is also on the list.
The meats all come in either 175 gram or 150 gram packages and have best before dates of either December 11th or December 23rd.
More information on the products is available on the Canadian Food Inspection Agency website.
The agency says anyone who has the products should either throw them out or bring them back to the store.
