Mobile Unit Coming To New Waterford, Testing Extended In North Sydney

A Public Health Mobile Unit will be in New Waterford next week for COVID-19 testing.

It will be at the Knights of Columbus on Monday and Tuesday from 11 in the morning to 6 in the evening and will be open for drop-in’s and appointments.

Meanwhile, the primary assessment centre at the Northside General Hospital will be open from 9 in the morning to 5 in the evening 7 days a week.

Testing there is by appointment only.

Testing is also available at the Grand Lake Road Firehall from 9 in the morning to 4:30 in the afternoon 7 days a week by drop-in or appointment.

The drop-in rapid testing site at Centre 200 is open from 3 in the afternoon to 7 at night Monday to Friday and from 11 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon on Saturday and Sunday.

The Centre 200 site is for people 16 and older with or without COVID-19 symptoms.
