Missing Boy’s Body Found In Swimming Pool

RCMP say searchers in the Elmsvale area outside of Halifax found the body of a missing four-year-old boy in a swimming pool, early this morning.

Nicholas Baker was last seen at his at his grandparents’ home shortly before 10:00, last night and he was reported missing shortly afterward.

Ground search and rescue teams, an RCMP dog and RCMP officers carried out a search before the boy’s body was discovered about four hours later.

Police say the death is not believed to be suspicious but add an autopsy today will help confirm the cause of death.
