by Victoria County RCMP say a missing Baddeck man may be in the Sydney area or on his way there.
80-year-old Richard Mahoney was last seen in the early hours of July 18 on Jessica Wong Lane in Baddeck.
He’s believed to have been on foot.
Police are asking people in the Sydney area, and in between Sydney and Baddeck, to consider checking outbuildings on their properties such as sheds, garages, or barns and call 911 if they see Mahoney.
Mahoney is described as 5-feet-8 inches tall and 140 pounds, with grey hair and blue eyes, and a dark bruise on his right elbow.
He may be wearing dark coloured shorts, a white and blue plaid or checkered shirt, and moccasin style shoes.
