Minglewood Wins Fans’ Choice Entertainer of the Year

Cape Breton’s Matt Minglewood took home Fans’ Choice Entertainer of the Year at last night’s East Coast Music Awards gala in Halifax.

The blues rock legend was the only winner from the Island.

Rose Cousins picked up the ECMA for album of the year, Joel Plaskett was named songwriter of the year and KINLEYwon Rising Star Recording.

The 30^th edition of the East Coast Music Awards continues with a number of events through the weekend.

The festival wraps up on Sunday night with the Music and Industry Awards ceremony.
