A Reserve Mines man facing five sex charges involving a former female student has been released on conditions.
51 year-old Lawrence Robert Summerell has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of luring a child under the age of 18 and a single count of sexual exploitation.
The charges date to between January and June of last year.
Summerell has been placed on administrative leave from his teaching job at Memorial High in Sydney Mines.
His release conditions include him not possessing or using any computer or other electronic device.
He’ll also be subject to random searches of his home by police.
He’s due back in court on October 3rd.
