Meeting To Save Bay Days Festival, Tonight

A meeting being held tonight that could seal the fate this year’s Bay Days Festival in Glace Bay.

Both the chair and vice chair of the festival have retired.

And, Ashley Eisan with the Regional Municipality’s Recreation Department says the festival needs new dedicated organizers if it’s going to continue.

Tonight’s meeting will get underway at 6:00 this evening in the community room at the Glace Bay Sobey’s.

The goal of the meeting is to find a new executive committee for the festival.
