McNeil Making New Office Appointments

Cape Breton native Laurel Munroe is stepping down as Premier Stephen McNeil’s director of communications to take another job.

The Premier’s Office says Munroe has accepted a position at Dalhousie University as director of communications and public relations.

McNeil’s senior media relations advisor David Jackson will be taking over from Munroe.

Kristina Shannon will move from the position of communications advisor in the Premier’s Office to the Premier’s press secretary.

The new appointments take effect on Friday.
