McDougall Welcomes New Baby Boy

Regional Mayor Amanda McDougall has given birth to a baby boy.

The municipality says McDougall is taking some time off to focus on recovery and her family.

Deputy Mayor Earlene MacMullin will be filling in for McDougall.

MacMullin was selected as Deputy Mayor at the first meeting of the new Regional Council last week.

There’s no word yet on when McDougall is expected to return.
