McDougall named NSFM President

Regional Mayor Amanda McDougall has been named President of the Nova Scotia Federation of Municipalities.

McDougall has previously served as Vice-President of the NSFM and takes over the President’s role from King’s County Deputy Mayor Emily Lutz.  

Port Hawkesbury Mayor Brenda Chisholm-Beaton is now Vice-President.

The news comes after the federation held its fall conference over the past two days.
