McDougall Expected To Announce Mayoral Run

A Regional Councillor is expected to announce plans to run for Mayor today.

District 8 Councillor Amanda McDougall says she’s making an announcement on her political future at the Baille Ard Trail in Sydney at noon.

Former Sydney Mines Councillor Archie MacKinnon and Chris Abbass from North Sydney are the only officially declared mayoral candidates so far.

Mayor Cecil Clarke is widely expected to launch his re-election campaign next week.
