Masks Required In Schools Until At Least May Long Weekend

The province is extending mask mandates in schools.

Education Minister Becky Druhan says masks will be required in schools until at least the May long weekend.

She says the decision to require masks in schools supports operational considerations and will be reassessed closer to May 20^th.

Mandatory masking in schools was originally supposed to end by the middle of this month.
