by Marine Atlantic says it’s suspending the North Sydney to Argentia route for this season because of COVID-19.
The route is mainly used for leisure and tourism and the demand for services in those industries has gone down because of the pandemic.
The Crown Corporation says people with cancelled reservations will be given full refunds.
It also says there will continue to be a minimum of two crossings per day between North Sydney and Port aux Basques and there will be no changes to commercial and passenger rates for the rest of the fiscal year.
