Marine Atlantic Resuming Argentia Run After Flooding In Newfoundland

Marine Atlantic is temporarily resuming its North Sydney to Argentia run starting today.

The Crown Corporation says the move comes after flooding in Newfoundland caused significant damage to the Trans Canada Highway.

It says that means ferry traffic from North Sydney arriving in Port aux Basques can’t get to the rest of the province.

The first crossing to Argentia is scheduled to leave at 5:00 this evening.
