Marine Atlantic Ferries Travelling Again

The Marine Atlantic ferry service resumed last night after ferries were tied up since Christmas Day on both sides of the Cabot Strait.

The Crown Corporation says the MV Highlanders is on schedule to arrive in North Sydney at 7:00, this morning.

Over the past three weeks, ferry service between North Sydney and Port aux Basques has been disrupted a number of times because of weather conditions in the Cabot Strait.

441 passengers and 140 commercial vehicles were scheduled to leave on last night’s crossing.
