Marine Atlantic Ferries Tied Up Because Of Weather Conditions

Marine Atlantic has now tied up its ferries for the day in both North Sydney and Port aux Basques because of upcoming weather conditions.

The Crown Corporation says ferries won’t sail until tomorrow morning, weather permitting.

There’s now a gale warning in effect for the Cabot Strait.

Seas are expected to build to 4 to 6 metres late this afternoon before going down to 3 to 4 near noon tomorrow.
