Marconi Campus Closed Again, Today

The Marconi Campus of the Community College will stay closed today after someone tampered with the locks on the door to its water tower.

The Community College says it’s been given the okay from the province to open under a no water consumption order.

However, it says measures need to be put in place before that can happen.

As a result, the Campus will stay closed until tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Cape Breton University next door says a non consumption order is in effect for water at its campus because of the same problem.

As a result, all food services on campus have been temporarily suspended and bottled water is being made available to residence students.
