Marconi Campus and CBU Reopen Today After Bomb Threat

All schools and colleges in this province and PEI that were closed yesterday because of a bomb threat will reopen, today.

Regional Police say the Marconi Campus of the Nova Scotia Community College got a bomb threat shortly before 8:00, yesterday morning.

The threat led to the day-long closure of the Marconi Campus and Cape Breton University next door.

Meanwhile, police say the threats made yesterday have been deemed not credible.

They add the threats were sent by fax but there’s no word yet if police have been able to track down who’s responsible.
