Man Who Died After Glace Bay Fire Identified

Regional Police have identified the man who died after a house fire in Glace Bay, early yesterday morning.

They say 54-year-old Gerry Somerton succumbed to his injuries at Glace Bay Hospital after he was pulled from the blaze at 43 Concord Street.

Police and firefighters got the call to the fire shortly after 1:00.

Police also say the fire has been deemed accidental.
