by The RCMP says they’ve identified the pedestrian struck by a transport truck near North Sydney Wednesday night.
Police say although the man’s name is not being released, they can share that he’s 40 years old and of no fixed address.
Police say the man was alone walking along the side of the road when he was hit at around 6:45 Wednesday night.
He remains in a Halifax hospital in critical condition.
