Man Killed in Inverness County Crash

A man is dead after his car crashed into an equipment trailer in Inverness County, yesterday afternoon.

RCMP say the car was travelling on the access road to Georgia Pacific’s Sugar Camp gypsum quarry, about 15 kilometers northeast of Port Hastings.

They add the force of the collision wedged the car under the trailer.

The man was the only one in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say they’re still investigating and there’s no word if the man was from the local area.
