A 47-year-old North Sydney man is facing a number of charges after Regional Police say there was a squabble in the parking lot of the Canadian Tire store in North Sydney, yesterday afternoon.
Police say they got the call at around 4:30.
They say officers found a man who needed medical attention.
He was taken to the Regional Hospital in Sydney for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say witness information, and evidence found at the parking lot led them to arrest the same man when he was released from hospital.
He faces counts of Uttering Threats, Assault with a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose.
