Regional Police say a 30-year-old man is facing charges after a Break and Enter at Cabot Motorsports on Keltic Drive in Coxheath early Friday morning.

Garth Gilbert Lafford of no fixed address has been charged with Break and Enter and Mischief.

Police say officers responded to an alarm at the business at around 4:00 and discovered the main entrance door smashed and several items strewn about the store.

They add officers and a K-9 team found a man in one corner of the building after searching it.

He was arrested at the scene and held at the Cape Breton Correctional Centre over the weekend to await a court appearance, this morning.
