Man Due In Court After Sydney Stabbing

A Sydney man is due in court today after a 52 year-old man was stabbed in Sydney, early yesterday morning.

Police say they got the call to George Street at 2:40.

They say the 52 year-old was taken to the Regional Hospital in Sydney with non- life threatening injuries and later released.

59 year old John Russell MacEachern faces counts of Assault with a Weapon, Assault and Uttering Threats.

He’s being held in custody to await today’s court appearance.
