Man Convicted Of Second Degree Murder

A Florence man has been found guilty of second-degree murder in the beating death of 60-year-old Robert Bradley in September of 2020.

A Supreme Court judge handed down the verdict for 41 year-old John Patrick White today.

The Crown called 17 witnesses during the judge alone trial along with two rebuttal witnesses.

The defence called four witnesses.

40 year-old Stephen Bishop was also charged with second-degree murder in Bradley’s death.

He pleaded guilty to the included offence of manslaughter and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

White is now scheduled to be sentenced on July 24th.
