Man Charged In Food Bank Theft Case

Charges have been laid after a theft from the Glace Bay Food Bank earlier this month.

Security footage shows one man and two women walking away with items from the food bank on May 15th.

Regional Police say a 34 year-old New Victoria man was arrested at his home yesterday but they’re not releasing his name.

He’s since been released and is due in court on July 7th to face charges of theft and mischief.

Police say they’re continuing to investigate the theft.
