Man Charged After Woman Hit By Car In Sydney

A 24-year-old Sydney man is facing charges after a woman was hit by a car and pinned against a house on St. Peter’s Road in Sydney, yesterday morning.

Zachary David Mackenzie faces counts of Criminal Negligence Causing Bodily Harm and Failure to Remain at the Scene of an Accident.

Police say the woman in her 20’s suffered serious injuries and has since been transferred to Halifax for treatment.

A neighbour says the woman was waiting with her daughter for a school bus at the time.

She also says the girl was not hurt.
