Man Charged After Sydney Vehicle Thefts

A 33-year-old man appeared in Sydney court today after Regional Police say they caught him stealing from vehicles last night.

Fabian Matthew Robinson from North Sydney is charged with Theft, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Failure to Attend Court and several Breaches of Probation and release conditions.

Police say they got a call shortly after midnight about someone getting into cars on Ranna Drive in Sydney.

They say a man was later arrested on Atlantic St.

The arrest comes after police got numerous reports of vehicle break-ins in Sydney’s Ashby area over the weekend.

Robinson is now on remand ahead of a bail hearing on Thursday.
