Man Charged After Fire at Bras d’Or Business Due in Court

A Sydney Mines Man charged after a fire at a business in Bras d’Or is due back in court today.

54year-old Phillip Raymond Leblanc faces four charges including Arson and Possession of an Incendiary Material.

He was charged after police got called to a fire at Scott MacNeil Motors on the night of April 22nd.

Police say the fire was immediately deemed suspicious.

Meanwhile, police say they’re continuing to investigate an earlier suspicious fire involving several travel trailers at Scott MacNeil Motors.
