Man Arrested at Howie Centre Business

Regional Police say a man was arrested after they searched a business in Howie Centre yesterday afternoon.

A 34-year-old Port Hawkesbury man is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cannabis marijuana and possession for the purpose of trafficking cannabis resin.

Police say they and the RCMP Integrated Street Crime Unit searched Nova Budds on Kings Road in Howie Center and found marijuana, shatter and other products containing THC.

Police go on to say the business was operating illegally.

Two other men were released with no charges.

The man will appear in court at a later date.
