by A 73 year-old man has been arrested after a 71 year-old woman died at a home in Howie Centre this morning.
Regional Police say they were called to a home on Kings Road at about 8:00.
They say paramedics tried to help the woman but she was pronounced dead a short time later.
The man was arrested at the scene.
No charges had been announced as of early Friday evening.
Police say the man and woman knew each other and there’s no risk to public safety.
