Man Arrested After Sydney Mines Standoff

Regional Police say they arrested a 42 year-old man after a standoff in the Church and Convent Street area of Sydney Mines, yesterday.

 

They go on to say the Sydney Mines man was arrested without incident after three hours.

 

Police say their investigation continues into what they call a Domestic Disturbance type incident.

 

They add they expect to lay charges involving threats, Parole Violations and weapons offences.
