Man Arrested After Police Say They Seized $150,000 Dollars Worth of Marijuana

A 63-year-old Sydney man has been charged with drug trafficking, after police say they seized more than $150,000 worth of marihuana from his vehicle.

Police say they stopped a vehicle in Point Edward yesterday evening, and found a large quantity of cocaine and more than 20 pounds of marijuana.

Officers arrested the driver.

He faces counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in both marijuana and cocaine.
