Regional Police say a 23 year-old man has been arrested after a robbery at the Circle K Irving in North Sydney last night.
They say they were called to the business just before 11:00, when they were told a man demanded cigarettes and money and threatened to hurt the clerk if they called police.
They say the man grabbed items from behind the counter and ran, eventually breaking through the front door where two other customers were trying to hold him in.
A man was later arrested at a home on Union St.
His name has not been released.
