Man Arrested After Big Ben’s Robbery

Regional Police have arrested a 36-year-old man after a robbery at the Big Ben’s Convenience Store on Prince Street in Sydney on Sunday.

Police say they found Dana Alexander Smith on Townsend Street in Sydney yesterday afternoon with the help of video surveillance and tips from the public.

Smith faces counts of robbery and possession of stolen property.

Police say they got called to the store at around 2:45 in the morning where a clerk said a man came into the store and demanded money, while threatening to use a weapon.

He took money from the register and left in a vehicle police say officers later found on a New Waterford street and confirmed it had been reported stolen.
