Man Arraigned On Gas Station Robbery

A 20-year-old man facing a number of charges after an armed robbery at a Sydney gas station on the weekend is due back in court tomorrow for a bail hearing.

Tre Damian Timmons was arraigned today on counts of robbery, wearing a disguise with intent, dangerous use of a weapon, uttering threats, and assault with a weapon.

He was arrested after police say an armed man came into the Sobeys/Needs gas and convenience store at the corner of Prince and Inglis streets shortly before 7:00 on Saturday morning.

They add there were no injuries during the robbery.

Police go on to say the K-9 Unit found a large knife and a cash register a short distance from the store.
