Man Accused Of Stealing Ambulance Facing More Charges

A 33-year-old Eskasoni man facing a host of charges after Regional Police say he stole an ambulance from the Regional Hospital in Sydney has also been charged after an armed robbery in Eskasoni.

Eskasoni RCMP say the man entered a building on Arena Road on Sunday night and demanded cash and a cell phone from a 31-year-old Eskasoni man, while brandishing a knife.

The Mounties say he was given cash and got away in a stolen vehicle.

Julian Conrad Sylliboy faces counts of robbery, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, taking a motor vehicle without consent as well as possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and breach of probation in that case.
