Man Accused Of Pointing Gun At People In Port Hood

RCMP say a 48 year-old man is facing weapons charges after being accused of pointing a gun at people in Port Hood yesterday evening.

They say they got a call just before 6:30 after a woman says the man pointed a gun at her and her family while they were in their vehicle.

Police say they surrounded the man’s home and arrested him after he tried to flee in a vehicle.

The man’s name has not been released.

Police say their investigation continues.
