Man Accused Of Killing Cassidy Bernard Due Back In Court, Today

The man accused of killing Cassidy Bernard from We’koqma’q is due back in court today to set a date for a preliminary hearing.

20 year-old Dwight Austin Isadore from Wagmatcook faces a count of second degree murder in Bernard’s death and two counts of abandoning a child.

Isadore is Bernard’s ex-boyfriend and the father of her twin girls.

The girls were in Bernard’s home when her body was found there in October of 2018.

Police aren’t saying how Bernard died or providing anymore details about the case.
