Makin’ Waves Cancelled

This year’s Makin’ Waves concert at Wentworth Park in Sydney is cancelled because of COVID-19.

However, organizers are planning some alternatives.

Among them is two nights of live and livestreamed music at the Cape Breton Drive-in organized by the Recreation Department.

The August 22^nd and 23rd event will be free, with ticketing information and lineup to be announced in July.

There will also be a weekly isolation edition of the Cape Breton University Songwriters Studio that will start on July 25^th.

And the CB-MIC Front Stage Program for young Cape Breton songwriters returns this year.
