Louisbourg Man Killed in Crash

A Louisbourg man is dead after a two-vehicle crash at the Morrison Road intersection of the Louisbourg Highway, yesterday evening.

Cape Breton Regional Police say the elderly man who was the lone occupant in a Mazada Portege died at the scene.

A man and a woman in a black Kia SUV were taken by ambulance to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say they’re between 30 and 40 years old.

The accident occurred at around 5:30 and is still under investigation.

The name of the man killed in the crash has not been released.
