Boularderie Elementary is one of two schools notified yesterday about COVID-19 exposures.
The province says all staff and parents are told about the exposures if a positive case was at the school while infected.
Meanwhile, the province is reporting 26 new cases of COVID-19 as it renews its State of Emergency today.
Four of the new cases are in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton.
There are also 18 new cases in the Central Zone, with three in the Northern Zone and one in the Western Zone.
28 recoveries are also being reported today.
There’s now a total of 169 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, including nine in the Regional Municipality.
10 people in the province are now in hospital with the virus, including one person in intensive care.
The State of Emergency is being extended to November 14th.
