Local MLA Says Left Turn Lane Coming For Busy North Sydney Intersection

A local MLA says a new turn lane will soon be added at a busy intersection in North Sydney.

Northside-Westmount MLA Murray Ryan says he has a commitment from Transportation Minister Lloyd Hines to put a new left turn lane at the intersection of the Trans-Canada and Tobin Road.

Ryan says the lane is needed for safety reasons because there have been too many close calls in the area.

However, the project is not covered in this year’s capital plan.
