Liquor Corporation Sales Up In Third Quarter

The Liquor Corporation says total sales were up 6.1 per cent in its third quarter to $228.1 million.

The Crown Corporation says there was an increase in both alcohol and cannabis sales compared to the same time last year.

It says alcohol sales increased 5.6 per cent between October 3rd and January 1st to $200.5 million.

Cannabis sales increased 9.2 per cent to $27.6 million in the same period.

The NSLC says earnings increased 6.6 per cent to $78.9 million, influenced by the busy holiday season.
