Lifeguards will be on duty at provincially supervised beaches starting on Canada Day.
The Nova Scotia Lifeguard Service provides 82 lifeguards to supervise 25 beaches in 12 counties.
Those include the Dominion and Mira Gut beaches, as well as those in Ingonish, Inverness, Port Hood and Point Michaud.
Beaches will be supervised daily between 10 in the morning and 6 in the evening.
